Second off, I've been going through a lot of changes that keep me busy. I recently got a job, go to college now, and started reading the e-book I recommended to you guys. So far it's good and helps a lot with me personally and socially. This is the link if you want to read it with me and discuss. http://99556alywddknmemf7jpqsdn4g.hop.clickbank.net/ I've also been taking on a lot of more responsibilities.
As for my health, I've been doing fine, better actually. I've been steady on my medication. Sometimes it'll be bad, but only sometimes.
What's new with you guys? Less about me, let's catch up!
Hey.
ReplyDeleteI have mildish undifferentiated Schizophrenia..
We're not alone. :)
I hope you stay strong. Thanks.
DeleteGood to hear you are doing well in the new year mate. I came across your blog on YouTube. From what I have read on your blog you sound quite capable and intelligent. I read somewhere that intelligent people have a better out come to mental illness but on the other side of the coin this can mean that they are also more prone to it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well and keeping good. The med lethargy I read on one of your other posts is very common. Sleep, sleep, sleep, wake, sorta eat, lay on couch, sleep, get up and have the meds....etc...and round again is quite common.
Take care mate!
Oh I see. Really? Dang, well let's hope I get the good side of the coin.
DeleteThank you. Yeah, I feel like that a lot.
You too! Thanks!
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog also from youtube while i was listening to clair De Lune. I just wanted to give you my support.
Enjoy your lives.
Thank you.
DeleteEnjoy yours too.
I'm so glad you are continuing with your treatment! The medication has some rough side effects, and finding a balance is difficult. You are strong and in control...great job!
ReplyDelete-bella
Thank you!
Deletehey from denmark
ReplyDeletehave you chekt into nutrition and alternative medicine?
Nice to meet you.
DeleteI am taking Abilifly, a medicine for schizophrenic symptoms.
Hi They had me on an antipsychotic and it helped but didnt cure anything. I am now taking b3 niacin. Lots of prayer from my husband and with our pastor. I have not read your story yet, but plan to after I write this. I know that it hurts me everyday. I like knowing that there are others out there who have empathy. Trusting God is also key. My mind just gets so tired and I just want to shut it off. I think it is great that you started a blog. I pray that it helps you heal. :)
DeleteHello there,I saw a comment of yours on youtube on a schizophrenia video and I'm currently writing a french speech on schizophrenia.I wish you the best of luck with your condition.
ReplyDeleteOh I see. Good luck with that, and thank you!
Deleteso glad to hear you are taking positive steps! this is so great to hear! the more you take firm actions towards betterment, the more your mind will believe in your success! don't give up! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for listening! I won't!
DeleteA few weeks ago I started getting early symptoms. I want to know how if life with schizophrenia?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on how bad the schizophrenia is, and how you as an individiual respond to the disease.. For me lately it hasn't really interferred with my life and I am living a normal life.
DeleteHi, I'm David.
ReplyDeleteMy mom suffers from a really bad case of schizophrenia and she is not doing so well. She was recently admitted to an asylum where she was prescribed Haldol and such.
I really don't have anything new to add. I found your blog through Youtube, and I wanted to look. I wish there was something that I could do to help. Really, I would give anything.
Please keep her in your prayers, too.
I just beat schizophrenia with an extreme hard core case in January 2012 after 5 years of major torment. 2 and 1/2 years in i threw away the medication that never worked and I had tried almost all there was. I really want to share everything but it is too extensive. i would love to help anyone that wants it. but you can have hope to know that extreme hard core cases -any case can be won. my email is secc2127@yahoo.com my name is Steven I would also love to hear anyone elses success too take care and my prayers to all. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteHi Steven,
DeleteI would love to know how to win my case! But i also am skeptical about contacting you. I dont know who I am emailing but I also need as many prayers possible. Are you completely healed? I have so many questions.
Hello I am Denis from southeastern Europe, my father is suffering from Schizophrenia for almost 2 decades now. I am 17 years old and i fear that i may develop it too. I really have a beautiful life, lots of friends, a gf, nice family. I do not want to be Schizophrenic can someone tell me how the first symptoms are.
ReplyDeleteInshAllah Allah helps you all...
My son developed very first symptoms at age 8 with a voice telling him to do something evil....then there was nothing again until age 17...he experimented with marijuana and we believe it triggered the pre-disposed gene. He has audio hallucinations and is now almost 22. He is in denial and refuses to take medication. Sounds like you have seen what your father has experienced and will know if the symptoms start occuring for you. Please let me know how you are doing and your dad as well. Does he take any medications? Does your mom suffer any mental illness? Feel free to contact me at kbaker34t@yahoo.com if you'd like to. Good Luck to you. Think HAPPY thoughts:)
DeleteI have had schitzoaffective depressive type since age 8, I'm now 21. I went 11 years without treatment. I also have MPD, anxity disorders, parniod thinking and my girl friend still stands by my side. I'm doing better. I battled SI and I was always depressed and suicidal but now I'm good. I'm happy yay me
ReplyDeleteHey, I just read you comment on youtube. I really want to help you by listning to you. If you ever want to talk to someone, just send me a messege on my tumblr. I've seen a movie about a man battling schizophrienia and it's hard. Much love!
ReplyDeleteI have a loved one with schizophrenia, and I am inspired every time I read about a person living with it and fighting. Keep it up!!
ReplyDeleteHai
ReplyDeleteI'am Zee
i was diagnosed mild schizophrenia. but now i found a man who really love me so much, accept me with my illness. Thats really help me to recovery. Right now no more hallucinations and delusions.
Thats the power of love!
I hope you can find someone who love you and accept you.
At first when i noticed the symptoms (hallucinations, voices, paranoia) i didint knew it could be shizophrenia so i used visualization methods and they really helped me to fight against those symptoms, now i feel better. I never took meds, they wont gonna make me feel like myself... i feel empty, i experienced sudden emotional shutdown one day and from that day i cant see the beauty of life :( ... anyyway i am ready to start experiments with lucid dreaming now (i used to have nightmares and sometimes avoided to go to sleep) and find if i can fix my mind. Yes i know its weird what i am doing to fight back, but hey its better than nothing :). Wish you guys best of luck and strenght .. and oh if you will want to contact me, than here is my facebook: karolis liekis

ReplyDeleteThe truth is beyond what we know-chemical imbalance in the brain can cause mental illness but not all mental illnesses are caused by biological reasons.Google for Dr Alan sanderson(Spirit Release Foundation),Dr Ralph allison(Minds In Many Pieces).Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale(spiritualresearchfoundation of india),Dr William J. Baldwin, Ph.D.(study of Dissociative Identity Disorder). If Psychiatry is very successful in treating mental illness why we see lot's of chronic patients taking pill's for their whole life.GOOD FOR PARMACITICAL COMANY'S
ReplyDeleteHi, I just found your blog and find it very interesting! I've never met someone with schizophrenia before! Have you ever believed the voices were real, or have you always denied them?
ReplyDeleteif you were to experience "the voices" you wouldn't think they were fake... til this day, i am told that what i experienced was not real but i just agree even though i know what i heard and felt as well
DeleteSharing stories is great support.
ReplyDeleteLook at my wife's blog. "Schizophrenia at the School Gate".
There is always hope.
I see that there hasn't been any really recent posts, and I hope you're doing ok. I found this blog on youtube as well. My grandpa had schizophrenia... he's the only person in my family who has had it, but I never met him. Its a topic that I have always been interested in and I'm working on getting my ba in psychology and open my own practice for people with mental illnesses. Schizophrenia has always interested me more than any other mental illness. I have done a lot of research on schizophrenia and have learned a lot, But I feel like its a lot more complex than what the textsbooks and psychs say. If you wouldn't mind, it would be nice to have a first person view that isn't an interview on youtube.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing okay! And really admire you for battling through this and still being able to do a lot with your life.
my email is jasangelorellana@yahoo.com
Hi i haven't been diagnosed but I'm pretty sure i have schizophrenia, my parents don't understand anything i try to tell them and its really affecting me, i also have insomnia but they wont believe me about that either. do you have any ideas on how i could get them to understand? i would really appreciate it, my email is raw1610@yahoo.com please email me back even if you dont have an answer, i just want someone to talk to
ReplyDeleteHey, is 'Asian-American Pleasure' your blog too? Umm it's about porn thing right? Okay no judging and no offense, do those things like about your pain release when the symptoms attacked? If it does, i just suggest to try finding another positive release. Like playing music instrument or writing your story like a memoar about your effort to fight through this mental illness. Who knows it may be published besides helping another people with same disease. Than you watch the porn thing that can make you're addictive like drugs and maybe fantasy of porn thing can make your paranoia getting worse.
ReplyDeleteBetter medication depends on their will and effort to find another good support. :)
I'm so surprised I found a blog from someone battling schizo. My parents try to pretend that I don't have it, and don't let me take the meds. Only 2 of my friends know, and they're all that's helping get through the acute phase. Keep posting on this blog, it brings hope to those lacking it.
ReplyDeleteI ran across your post on YouTube. My mom is 84 and has been on Risperdal for yrs due to her being paranoid schizophrenic. She recently started having a mini stroke so now I alternate every other day with med. Trying to find a more natural treatment without bad side affects.
ReplyDeleteWell I have schizophrenia and came across this blog and I haven't gone through it too much, but just enough that it made me want to respond and join the blog, but i noticed there aren't any recent posts... I started a blog just now at http://schizophrenicveteran.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteHi, visit my blog (unfortunately in Polish) about schizophrenia - http://schizofrenia.net.pl/
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI am schizofrenic, i think. I am in a mental hospital right now, and i am battling my worst battle ever now. It's not that my symptoms are difficult to bear, it's the medication that tears me apart. No emotions, no imagination, no reflection, no creativity, it makes me feel like a zombie.
I have been here for six months now, and i feels like my soul have been deleted slowly by the medication i get. I hope someone have some tips about what i should do. Thanks in advance.
Ginseng, & other traditional herbal medicine works. Sometimes sleeping and just doing the casual usual activities in every other normal daily routine life.
ReplyDeletehow are you doing now?
